It’s incredible that a document that is 5000 years old is so relevant to today’s teens as they search for meaning and understanding. I teach weekly short lessons from that week’s Torah portion and ask students questions that are related to the theme of the weekly Torah portion – some examples: sharing your success and resources with the less fortunate, animal cruelty, standing up for those being bullied, forgiving those who have hurt us, looking for daily opportunities to be kind. There are Torah portions that will help your child build relationships and there are weekly Torah
portions that will help build effective communication and strong leadership skills
