About Cantor Ben Silverberg

Ben Silverberg has been a Cantor serving the Toronto, Canada, community for nearly 20 years. In that time, he’s supported many successful Bar and Bat Mitzvah students as they progress into Jewish adulthood. Not only will your child learn how to chant successfully for their Big Day, they will learn lessons from the Torah on how to be kind, forgiving, charitable and leaders!

He initially began teaching kids the “old fashioned way” which meant sitting with them once a week after school to help them learn and experience the entire process. Over time, that developed into an interactive, online learning process that inspired increased engagement and success.

Today, Cantor Ben utilizes online Bar and Bat Mitzvah education to support the process of learning, increase student confidence and performance, and instill more positive feelings about learning and Judaism.

Cantor Ben has extensive experience and success with special needs students who suffer from anxiety,  ADHD,  autism, OCD and students whose gender identity doesn’t immediately make them want to choose between a Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

If you are a teen or adult who for whatever reason never had a Bar or Bat Mitzvah or received a Jewish education,  Cantor Ben has helped many teens and adults learn about Judaism and achieve their goals.

Experience A More Exciting Learning Process

MEANINGFUL EDUCATION

At Cool Cantor we believe that proper education can have a profound impact not only on the process youth go through in a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, but how they continue to feel about themselves and others throughout their lives. We believe that proper education can lead to stronger, more focused young adults who value caring, empathy, and paying it forward. In fact, we believe in teaching a “ripple effect” that helps your child learn about the positive effect that helping others can have on themselves and on the world.
